Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 3

Bang and Olufsen BeoSound 3
The anodized-aluminum BeoSound looks like some kind of thermal wine caddy, but in fact, it's a boombox that you can plunk on a tabletop, mount on the wall (hardware included), or take to go. The front side is a speaker, and there's a click wheel on top that lets you switch among the functions: a clock, a radio with 99 presets (does anyone actually have 99 favorite stations?), and a digital music player with an SD card. As you may have noticed, there are no pesky wires; the BeoSound runs on a rechargeable battery. It's a cool-looking gadget, but you may wish that it was a wine caddy, with a bottle of Chateau d'Yquem embedded, as it costs a hefty $850.
