When shopping for a desktop for your home office, it's important to find the best long-term investment while staying within your budget. Unless you're running a design shop or are otherwise using intensive graphics apps day to day, you can pass on expensive parts, such as the fastest processor, gobs of memory, and cutting-edge graphics cards.
