Work easily with drawings, formulas, or signatures. You can do a lot with a tablet PC, and the past six months have seen a slew of new tablets in all shapes and sizes. The thinnest tablets are keyboard-free slates, such as the Motion LE1600. Lightweight convertibles, such as the HP Compaq tc4200 and the ThinkPad X41 Tablet, travel easily and can function as a laptop or a tablet.
