Displays, though utilitarian, shouldn't all have the same boring
design. The typical monitor has a black cabinet, a stubby neck, and
little flexibility. But style enthusiasts shouldn't be dismayed, some
monitor makers aren't afraid to break the mold. The LG Flatron L1981Q
and the Samsung SyncMaster 970P are attractive monitors, and they offer
the most flexibility we've ever seen. The Sony SDM-HS75P/S's easel isn't
as flexible, but it can be adjusted with a finger and its sleek design
is ripe for use in any modern office. And if you want a monitor to match
your Mac, the BenQ FP93V is all white and its base is large enough to
accommodate a Mac Mini.
