InterVideo's support for WinDVD Recorder is limited, and the included electronic documentation betrays the software's origins as an extension to the WinDVD player. The Help file focuses solely on DVD-playback features and omits any advice regarding key recording features such as time-shifting and recording to DVD. It also lacks an indexed search option.
InterVideo offers phone support, a toll call, weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. PT, as well as 24/7 e-mail support. It took InterVideo four days to send us a relatively unhelpful response to an e-mail inquiry about a nondocumented feature. InterVideo's Web site offers only a short FAQ on WinDVD Recorder.
