Elements greets you the first time with a traditional welcome screen, where you choose among the different task modules: organize, quick fix, standard edit, projects, or a blank canvas. You can also go straight to the tutorials--they're all online--or get a description of the software. If you don't wish to see this screen every time you start the program, you can choose between starting up in the editor or the organizer.
