Sneak peek at Windows Media Player 11 for Vista
At CES 2006, we saw a demo of WMP 11, which boasts a cleaner and more logical design as well as snappier performance. Check out screenshots from the latest build of WMP 11 for Vista. Microsoft plans to release a Windows XP version as well, probably sooner than the Vista version.

The video library
Video clips now include a thumbnail view, though most of our non-WMV video wouldn't show up in our version. Any media clip can be dragged into the simplified playlist window on the right side.
