Although Netscape 8 automatically decides which Web browsing engine to use, you can still manually select either Internet Explorer or Firefox on a site-by-site basis. The next time you visit that page, Netscape will use your saved setting. The advanced settings tab allows you to micromanage the use of pop-ups, cookies, Java, JavaScript, and ActiveX for a given Web site, eliminating the need to create cumbersome security zones such as those used in Internet Explorer.
