roaming
(1) The ability to use a mobile phone outside of one's normal service area, or to use one's mobile phone without interruption while traveling. (2) The ability to move a PDA or a notebook PC from one wireless network access point to another without losing Internet connectivity. (3) The ability to get Internet access while traveling for the price of a local call, by using an ISP that has POPs in most major cities or by using an ISP that has reciprocal agreements with other service providers.
