T1
A dedicated digital telephone line that offers high-speed data transfer, commonly used in the United States, Canada, and Japan. T1 is a term coined by AT&T for a system that transfers digital signals at 1.544MB per second. A T1 line consists of 24 separate channels that transmit data at 64KB per second each.
