Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum
DSSS is a spread spectrum radio technology. The sender alters, or modulates, the signal by spreading it over a wider frequency, generating what seems like signal noise to everyone except the receiver who knows how to return the signal to its original form, or demodulate it.
