enterprise
In the computing realm, enterprise refers to the computer systems in a large company or other organization. An enterprisewide network, for instance, would include the computers, servers, gateways, routers, and other equipment that connect the entire corporation, whether it's all in one location or it spans buildings, states, or even countries. Enterprise software consists of large-scale applications that help automate many of the functions basic to the running of a business, from human resources to accounting to resource planning.
