Automotive historians will point out that headlights that steer around corners are not new. High Intensity Discharge (HID) projector lighting systems, however, are. These headlight systems are connected to steering-input sensors through a smart electrical system. The small, high-intensity headlights require modest turning to achieve dramatic results, and the steering sensor is already onboard for the stability control system.
