Bluetooth interface
While the debate over cell phone use while driving rages on, there's little debate about whether drivers should have one hand or two on the wheel, not to mention the added distraction of looking up and dialing phone numbers. The newest Bluetooth-equipped vehicles enable the driver to keep the cell phone tucked away while the onboard system provides hands-free calling, and the vehicle's built-in antenna can provide a broader range than the one used in handheld devices. Some systems can even download the cell phone's directory into the vehicle's display. On the other hand, the initial setup can be as painful as a root canal--a feature we hope to see improved.
