Cell phones with speakerphones
Updated December 14, 2005

When you're looking to get your business off the ground, meetings with your investors can't always occur in person. And if fancy conference phones are still beyond your budget, mobiles with speakerphones will let you conduct those group gatherings. Of course, the sound quality won't be as good as a normal call's, but it'll work in a pinch. Plus, since an increasing number of laws restrict cell phone use while driving, an integrated speakerphone will give you another hands-free option beyond a headset.

Review summary Sony Ericsson's stylish, compact K750i takes crystal-clear photos, packs plenty of multimedia options, and tops it all off with fully enabled Bluetooth. The Motorola V360 abandons the flashy for the functional. Although the design is a step backward from the last model in the product line, it's outweighed by attractive features. Though the Samsung MM-A900 is unlikely to win over the most hard-core Razr fans, it's still a compelling and promising alternative to the popular Motorola phone. The Sanyo MM-9000 flip phone is a good choice for a 3G phone, but better options exist in Sprint's stable. The VX8000 offers an admirable combination of features and performance. Before you jump onboard, though, make sure Verizon's EV-DO network is available in your area.
