The good: Lets you use your favorite browser and e-mail software; provides six e-mail accounts per customer; filters junk e-mail. The bad: Limited news, forums, and chat rooms; uneven setup routine; doesn't let you customize start page layout and content. The bottom line: AT&T WorldNet delivers solid dial-up access, but it doesn't go all out on content and community links. For a more comprehensive ISP, try MSN or EarthLink. |

AT&T WorldNet has several good points. For one thing, it gets you online fast--much faster than programs that use proprietary interface software (read AOL and MSN). And with six separate accounts at 10MB of Web server space each, WorldNet allots you more storage space and more separate users than EarthLink's family package. But AT&T WorldNet's service can't match the custom content, including news and shopping links, that AOL, MSN, and CompuServe provide. Try any one of those, or, better still, EarthLink instead.
