A triple threat from Microsoft
September 1 was a big day in Redmond. Microsoft simultaneously launched a trifecta of media-related products, all of which are designed to work seamlessly with one another. As with its previous beta version, Windows Media Player 10.0 features integrated media stores, including MSN Music, which launches with more than 1 million songs. Within a single interface, you can now purchase, organize, and transfer your songs, videos, and photos to a Portable Media Center.
