American automakers aren't the only ones revisiting the past, as the introduction of the Lamborghini Miura concept proves. On the first day of the Detroit Auto Show, Lamborghini had the Miura concept covered up, but it wasn't difficult to anticipate what was to be unveiled, given the distinctive body lines. This Miura concept is based on the 1966 design and retains much of the original's look, although it's a little smoother. Lamborghini hasn't decided whether to produce the car yet, but it released no details about engine specs. If it's placed between the Gallardo and Murcielago, though, I would expect the Murcielago's 6.2-liter, 12-cylinder engine but with only rear-wheel drive, as opposed to the all-wheel system on the Murcielago.
