Amazon to get movie downloads before iTunes? Posted by: Molly Wood
Could it be? Could Amazon get a deal done to deliver for-pay movie downloads--which you could burn to DVD (registration required)--before iTunes gets there? Amazon is reportedly in talks with Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, and Warner Brothers. This news, now that it's been reported, just gives Steve Jobs the names of the folks he needs to call.
