OK, folks, mark your calendars. Palm is set to hold a press conference on Thursday, October 12 at 1 p.m., Eastern, during the DigitalLife Show in New York. The company is not giving up any information (hey, we tried) on exactly what it will announce, but if we had to take a guess, we think it's probably the U.S. availability of the Treo 750v and perhaps even the rumored low-cost Treo 680. The press invite said there would be more details to follow in the coming weeks, so we'll keep you posted as we get more information.
