Trust DS-3250 Optical Wireless Multimedia Desktop
It's not as fancy as any of the higher-end multimedia input devices from Logitech or Microsoft, but we found the straightforward features of Trust's DS-3250 Optical Wireless Multimedia worthwhile and easy to use. And at less than $70, its price is right, too.

Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave
Logitech's Cordless Desktop Wave stands out for its comfortable ergonomic touches, an easy learning curve, and its affordable price. We have minor issues with its hot keys--the media controls get short shrift--but heavy typists will like what Logitech has to offer here.

Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000
Microsoft's Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000 brings a lot of features and functions. Its wireless, backlit keyboard is also rechargeable, but we wish it were better designed and about $50 less expensive. We suspect many people will be impressed at the features on the box, but then you'll see the price and move along.

Razer ProType keyboard
We wish Razer had considered the value proposition a bit more with its iPod dock-equipped ProType keyboard, but if you think minimized cable clutter is worth an extra $30 and the loss of some configurability, you'll find yourself with an attractive keyboard that's a pleasure to type on.

Logitech Cordless Desktop LX710 Laser
We like the highly customizable Logitech Cordless Desktop LX710 Laser, but we found its overly sensitive quick-launch buttons really annoying.

Logitech Cordless MediaBoard for PlayStation 3
The Logitech Cordless MediaBoard for PlayStation 3 is currently one of the only Sony-certified--and totally compatible--cordless keyboards for the PS3, but it's really not a true PS3 keyboard.

Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000
Microsoft fits a number of useful features on to the keyboard in its new Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000 set, but we're not sold. We'll give it credit for its easy-to-use media control buttons, but the keyboard lacks too much overall polish compared to competing products to earn a stronger recommendation.

Logitech diNovo Edge
Thanks to its sharp design, it's easy to imagine this keyboard in the living room or in any high-visibility area. We only wish its touch-sensitive features were more responsive, which especially stings considering the price. If you're willing to accept a $200 keyboard with a few minor flaws, we recommend it.

Ideazon Merc Gaming Keyboard
The Ideazon Merc Gaming Keyboard brings some innovation to the typical game keyboard by creating a separate cluster of game keys in a supposedly easier-to-use layout. We didn't take a shine to the game pad, though, and in general, the Merc's response wasn't as tight as we hoped for. It's cheap though, and its software is powerful. Those features add value, just don't expect the Merc to help you win any Quake tournaments.
