All LCD Monitors

The Bottom Line: We're not overly impressed with NEC's LCD193WXM monitor. The 19-inch wide-screen LCD has strong enough image quality for the price, but NEC seems to equate utilitarianism with missing features. We wouldn't expect a $200 19-inch screen to bowl anyone over, but competing displays seem to try harder.

The Bottom Line: If you can look past a few minor issues, we can think of few people who would be unhappy to own HP's new w2207 LCD. Its attractive design, outstanding overall performance, and approachable price tag make this one of our favorite 22-inch screens to date.

The Bottom Line: Acer AL2216W is a bare-bones LCD monitor, but it represents a good value with its low price and relatively solid performance.

The Bottom Line: The iPod dock doesn't fully deliver on its potential, and the design is a little clunky, but the Viewsonic VX2245wm ViewDock still delivers some attractive features with decent performance for those willing to pay extra.

The Bottom Line: The Dell UltraSharp 2707WFP is expensive and not quite up to the task for professional imaging, but its elegant design, big screen, and copious extras will appeal to those with a big budget.

The Bottom Line: The Dell E207WFP's low price makes it a worthwhile budget LCD contender, as long as you don't need high performance or extra features.
