Lexmark Platinum Pro 905
  • Editors' rating: 4 stars
      Overall score: 8.3 (4.0 stars)
  • User rating: 4 stars out of 4 reviews
Lexmark Platinum Pro 905 Reviewed on 09/25/2009

The Bottom Line: The Lexmark Platinum Pro 905 is a fully capable all-in-one business device, but its touch screen might throw a wrench in your workflow. The Smart Solutions widgets add virtual customization to the control panel, but we wish Lexmark had retained a few hard buttons as well. As the top dog in the Lexmark printer family, the Platinum Pro 905 does the job, but the HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless does it better.

Specs: 5 years warranty

Lexmark X7675 Pro
  • Editors' rating: 4 stars
      Overall score: 8.0 (4.0 stars)
  • User rating: 2h stars out of 54 reviews
Lexmark X7675 Pro Reviewed on 12/11/2008

The Bottom Line: Aside from a few design hang-ups and a slower than average output speed, the Lexmark X7675 Professional all-in-one printer is a cut above other multifunctional printers. Its excellent quality prints, easy-to-set-up wireless connectivity, and generous five-year warranty catapult it to the top of our list of favorites.

Lexmark X7550
  • Editors' rating: 2 stars
      Overall score: 4.8 (2.0 stars)
Lexmark X7550 Reviewed on 03/18/2008

The Bottom Line: All-in-one printers are a tough sell, and we must insist that manufacturers release machines that produce prints with the same standard of quality as their individual counterparts. With that in mind, we can't recommend the Lexmark x7550 because of its poor quality prints and several mechanical snags.

Specs: Digital photo - Thermal inkjet - Color laser paper, Legal (8.5 in x 14 in), Custom (8.5 in x 17 in), Digital photo, Modem, PC, Mac, 1 year warranty

Lexmark X4550 all-in-one
  • Editors' rating: 3 stars
      Overall score: 6.4 (3.0 stars)
  • User rating: 2 stars out of 12 reviews
Lexmark X4550 all-in-one Reviewed on 07/20/2007

The Bottom Line: The Lexmark X4550 offers what most all-in-ones in this price range don't: wireless networking. Casual home users who value network-readiness will love that feature, but users who want better print quality will be happier with a different machine.

Lexmark X502n color laser multifunction
  • Editors' rating: 3h stars
      Overall score: 7.4 (3.5 stars)
  • User rating: 2 stars out of 5 reviews
Lexmark X502n color laser multifunction Reviewed on 07/03/2007

The Bottom Line: Although it's missing some fax features that many small offices and work groups find useful, the Lexmark X502n produces fast, high-quality prints. This is one laser multifunction that has a lot going for it.

Specs: Fax, Copier, Printer, Scanner, Laser, 1200 x 1200 dpi

  • Editors' rating: 3 stars
      Overall score: 6.2 (3.0 stars)
Lexmark X3550 Multifunction Printer Reviewed on 06/21/2007

The Bottom Line: The Lexmark X3550 is a middle-of-the-road multifunction printer with an affordable starting price and reasonable ink refill costs. Photo prints leave something to be desired, but it performs the rest of its tasks acceptably well.

Specs: Copier, Printer, Scanner, Ink-jet, 600 x 1200 dpi

X9350 WLS ALL-IN-ONE-32/27PPM W/ DUPLX Reviewed on 01/24/2007

The Bottom Line: The Lexmark X9350 is a decent choice for the budget-minded small-office user who needs an all-in-one printer packed with features and can live without top-notch print speeds and print quality.
