"They're giving it away for FREE!"
Pros: I use it for Outlook and Eudora. They also added capabiltiy to searche for music and photos. I have yet to have X1 not find a file type and I have some pretty arcane file types.
Cons: have to use cache mode if you have 9K or more emails for quick rendering in the preview pane
