"cyberhome is pretty darned good"
Pros: It reads allformats including vcd. It has akk of the outputs to connect to a surround sound, and it is cheap,
Cons: I have 2 units one only lasted 1yr and the other one is indestructible. I figure for around $40 it does a pretty good job.

Pros: Small unit packed with many features. Progressive scan feature makes it a great buy for the price.
Cons: Don't know anything about Cyber Home so I don't know the longevity of the unit.
