Cons: Why spend so much?
Summary: I recently purchased two RCA Lyra RD2762s, which are also 4 GB and apparently based on a Microdrive rather than flash memory. While the Samsung has a color screen that's slightly larger, and the Lyra has a monochrome (but backlit) screen that's smaller, the RCA unit has a standard mini-B USB connection, and it can run in Windows DRM mode or as a USB-based hard drive. Most controls are on the front rather than sides, and it has a control wheel for fast scrolling while the Samsung does not.
Best part? You can pick up BRAND-NEW Lyras of this model for about $60 all day long on eBay, and even some online retailers. Why spend the extra? Unless you need video/color photo viewing, you get a standard USB interface, control wheel, and everything the Samsung offers for a third of the price. -

Summary: In korean version, this mp3 is called blue tooth mp3 because it supports blue tooth earphones.. but howcome US version doesn't?

Cons: Doesn't work for audiobooks
Summary: If you read enough reviews of this item you'll find that one of the major complaints is that it skips badly during playback of audiobooks. To make matters worse, their website claims that there's a firmware upgrade available to fix the problem. If the upgrade is there, it's well hidden. Furthermore, when you try to submit feedback, one of the mandatory fields is the model number. There's a drop-down menu which is blank, and you can't force enter a model number. Without a model number (which you can't enter) you can't submit the feedback. Reputable dealers should stop selling this item.
