"PS2 v. XBOX"
Pros: The PS2 is better looking than the XBox and has a larger selection of titles. Additionally, it supports DVD out of the box.
Cons: The PS2 costs $149 out of the box, plus $99 for a HDD, plus $30 for a multitap, plus $15 for a memory card, plus $30 for a network adapter. After all these purchases, you would have a product that is close to an Xbox but still inferior (because of perfor

OK so you think XBOX is superior to PS2, thats why Microsoft has lost over 4 BILLION DOLLARS with 3 BILLION being in defect consoles the other 1 BILLION being in returned consoles

The Xbox is NOT $149 out-of-box. There is no need for an HDD OR a Multitap. Most PS2 games are single-player anyways. Memory card are only $5 and third-party adaptars are only $10. There are wireless headsets avaible for the same price as a regualr headset. DOLBY DIGITAL IS NOT THE ONLY FORM OF SURROUND SOUND. DUH! If you have dial-up, then it won't freze or lag. True, Xbox snazzes PS2 in online, but as said before, PS2 dosn't really have online games. The XBOX controller is FRICKIN' HUGE! And VERY uncormfortable. Xbox is better than PS2, but most of the things you state are either heavily opiniated (nonfactual) or just simply non-factual.

Well, earlier versions of the ps2 did not have defects, but on the other hand, the x box did.they have the SAME graffics. Really the only good game x box has for it is Halo and Halo 2 the others suck. Ps2s have a lot more games that are a lot better than the halos. But I'll tell you one thing. The ps3 will be way superior to the x box 360. The x box 360 will be geared mainly towards media center and the ps3 will be mainly for games. AND, the ps3 is going to have far bettter graffics than the x box 360.
Take that xbox fanboy. -
