"Brings new life to old games"
Pros: The surround sound is fantastic and truly stands out when you're playing a familiar game and allow yourself to enjoy the surroundings. You'll discover new ambient noises and audio details you never heard before. Chat is crystal clear to your friends.
Cons: Battery consumption and "wireless" microphone. For the money It should be 100% wireless and NOT require a cable from controller to headset; even worse the connection to controller should be reinforced instead it mimicks the cheap XBOX version.
Summary: The flex cable for the chat microphone is solid construction but an inch too short. The microphone works best when the foam protector is resting on user's lips. Instead of two double-a batteries the device should use with the same rechageable battery as is used by the XBOX play-n-charge kit.
Overall I am very pleased with the product but I think a few modifications will bump it up from a very high 4.25 to a solid 5.0
