"Not very impressive,would look for something better to buy...."
Pros: Not much to say, DISSAPPOINTED. Nothing great that you couldn't get for an even lesser price with other manufacturers
Cons: Here is my experience: Bought in Best Buy. Deal came with printer and the FPD2185W Monitor. Computer Buggy for one thing...does not come with a PCI DVI-D outlet..so the screen picture is not clear..
Summary: I have had computers for the last 12 years,and I am a pretty good end user. I consider this my worse buy...not only is the Computer System Mediocre,even though it comes loaded with all sorts of " goodies",to attract you, like 2 gigs Memory, but the Monitor is less than sharp and clear. PROBLEMS..Gateway's Tech Support horrible,to automatized.....the two times I called,not only did I have to wait a long time being charged for the call,but I knew more than the people trying to help me I just gave up on them.....not very helpful at all....if you buy in a store they do not offer tech support direct from Gateway,be-aware of this since the store people will not tell you...no matter how much I have tried I can not get the font clear and sharp.Clarity less than it should be, for example; I can get better crispness on my old computer.... As to the speed of this machine, my old machine with a 1.1 Athlon works just as fast. Sticky would best bottomline this machine.certainly not snappy, tight, or quick in transitions or commands..the DVD slow to load.....I do not recommend this system nor the Monitor, FPD2185W, that comes with it...you can get a better buy somewhere else in my opinion, I wish I did....! and surely better tech support......Thumbs Down
