"Great notebook for you money."
Pros: Good storage, Nice DVD burner, lightweight and very portable
Cons: Battery could last a bit longer
Summary: I bought this notebook because my wife wanted to borrow my MacBook Pro for a trip (no way!). Instead I looked for an inexpensive small notebook to buy for her. I was surprised at how few 13-14" screen notebooks there are, but the compaq caught my eye as the price was $599.00 at Costco. I was surprised that the HD was 100 GB and that it had a DVD burner. I was also surprised as it wasn't as slow as I expected after reading about it here on CNET. It's not a gamer by any means, but if you are only into office apps and internet, it's great. Even the speakers are nice. I'm still partial to macs, but cheapest macbook is still nearly twice the price of this little guy. We'll have to see how it is in 6 mos, but so far I like it a lot. I don't really have any complaints, but I give it a 9 for not knowing the longevity of it.
