"Awesome for the money"
Pros: simple design, processor speed, large widescreen, card reader
Cons: battery life, hard to keep screen clean, graphics card
Summary: This laptop has made me nothing but happy. The processor speed is a monster for a laptop, and I love it even though it's not a centrino. The battery life is about 2 hours max, but I wasn't looking for a travel machine. I've heard people complain about the weight and battery life when they take this machine on planes etc. Well what did they expect, this laptop is made for desktop like processing, not portability. If you purchased this laptop for travel then you should have done a bit more research first. I bought it with 512 RAM, but upgraded to a gig, and I've never had any functionality issues to date. The only con I have noticed is the integrated 64 MB graphics card. Certain games look bad, and certain games are just unplayable. Then again I have my desktop for gaming so it's not an issue. Easily one of the best buys you can make on a lap top under $1000. I believe it's a Pentium 531 processor with hyper threading technology.
