"Good product, good technical support ...poor quality assurance"
Pros: at $800, best Core2Duo you could find today.
Cons: my first laptop was defective out of box may be due to poor quality checking. Win-Home is not as good as Pro
Summary: I brought this laptop from office depot at $800 (1 GB of 667 MHz DDR2 memory, 120 GB hard disk, finger print reader, wireless, 15.4" screen). I tried various laptops of my friends from other vendors before I ordered this. All other laptops with similar config cost well over $1250 (including DELL. HP, Sony) but the product was not to my like ... poor key-boards, sound cards, speakers assembly etc).
My first laptop was shipped directly from warehouse (from China ???) to my home adress and had 2 bad keys. I called the vendor and shipped back for a replacement. New piece arrived in 15 days citing "not in stock" at warehouse. technical support tried to solve problems with me over phone and they recommended to ship back for replacement. TS are knowledgeble and helpful.
I am using my laptop for 2 months and so far no problems. This laptop traveled with me over 10,000 miles and saw many major airports in US and surviced all X-ray scanning and one drop at La Gaurdia from about 2 feet. I carry this almost all the day and I can SURELY say this is laptop is NOT designed for a traveller.
BottomLine: Great product at this price though not really good for traveller.
