""Perfect time to switch""
Pros: Seemless software, great hardware mix, and looks beautiful always.
Cons: No Finger Print reader, Camera is only VGA, No card reader, needs more USB connections.
Summary: This is a great time to switch from Windows to OS-X. The Vista release means individuals and corporations will be in assessment mode. I have determined that instead of taking shots at "Apple addicts" and those who praise all things Apple, that I would try the products and make a more informed assessment. I'm glad I did! I admit that I have no intention to return to the world of Windows at all. I understand the madness now. The praise is well deserved.
This machine works flawlessly. While many complain about the closed nature, or strict release protocol associated with third party applications, the justification is in the performance. You don't have the software conflicts, lock-ups, dreaded blue screen, and crashes. The software performance is nothing short of flawless. You become so enamored with the software performance that you dismiss the hardware contribution. Isn't that the way Hardware should be? I wish there were some things like Fingerprint recognition, more USB's, a more vivid camera, to name a few. However, these are no show-stoppers and I am glad I made the switch. Now I am just determining what software I actually need and want. I am enjoying the streamlined minimalist nature of what I call Apple-ism.
I highly recommend this specific product based on my actual user experience, as opposed to Cat calling without having used the product. It is strange to me that I still have'nt met anyone who switched from Apple to Windows.... hmmmm I no longer wonder why.
Sincerely.
