"Beautiful machine"
Pros: Looks great. Good performance and lightweight
Cons: Loud fans. Compatability
Summary: All in all, I'm very pleased with my Macbook Pro. This is my first Apple computer purchase so I was a little apprehensive about getting used to the difference, but the transition has been easier than I expected. There are a few compatability issues I ran into, such as not functioning correctly with the Microsoft wireless photo keyboard and connecting issues with certain firmware versions of the linksys WRT54GS router.
The temperature and noise of the machine are fine when performing tasks such as word processing or web browsing, but when loading up games such as World of Warcraft, the game performance is great but the fans turn on full blast and make a considerable amount of noise.
