"Excellent laptop - still a little expensive..."
Pros: Great screen, fast DVD drive, all important features are in there...
Cons: Price is on the high side, Buying from CompUSA is a mistake
Summary: I bought this laptop to replace my PowerBook G4. The screen on the MacBook Pro is brighter, and much more easily viewed for long periods of time. Unlike most PC laptops, Apple doesn't load the hard drive with junk, so the usable capacity was also very good. Using Parallels Desktop, the virtual operating systems run just as well as, if not better, than the same OS on dedicated hardware. This is an excellent laptop, and I highly recommend it. It's not going to outperform an XPS M1710, but it's great for business users and consultants.
