"Well worth the $1000"
Pros: Pros: Nice look, great battery life with 12 cell, decent speaker performance

Summary: I bought a similarly configured unit as the one reviewed, except I prurchased the upgraded monitor/resolution. With my employee discount it was $930; well worth the money. I assume the unit was reviewed with a 6 cell battery. 6 cell batteris suck. Spend $70 and get the 12 cell. I get great battery life with the 12 cell. The previous reviewer mentioning inconsistent internet reception. That's and issue with vista, not the laptop. And sure, the 9200 graphics card isn't made for heavy gaming. Why criticize the gaming performance with the 9200 card. If you want to game, upgrade to the 9600. This is the same for any manufacturer, not just HP.
In summary, if you want a laptop for everyday use and not heavy gaming, I think this laptop with the 7350 processor, upgraded monitor, 3 GB of RAM, 12 cell battery, and 9200 graphics card for around $1000 is a great deal.
