"Excellent Buy for the $"
Pros: Above avg specs
Cons: No option for larger screen
Summary: I purchased this laptop from Office
Depot for 749 (after rebates). I think it is a great buy for the price that I paid.
I went with the full intention of purchasing a Sony Vaio that was also on sale w/rebates but found during my comparison that this laptop had twice the ram and a better processor than the budget priced vaio (if you want to check mhy story I think its the 498 - the pink one on ODs website) so I purchased the HP. I initially almost purchased the 2840 but the 2940 had additional rebates that made both laptops have a final price of 749 so I figured it was worth the wait for the 50 bucks to have the extra performance.
