"A gaming laptop dream come true!"
Pros: 500 gig HD 7200, 4 gigs of ram, GEFORCE 9800M GT. Sleek looking machine. Option to boot into linux instead of Windows if your just gonna access email, im or surf the web. Cool lighting effects. free backpack, razor diamond back mouse, and video game.
Cons: The speakers royally suck. Some of the included features are useless. No volume control without the Fn button.
Summary: This is about the best you can get. This computer cost me 1500.00 and it comes with a Geforce 9800m GT 512 mb dedicated. Intell centrino 2 inside 2.53 ghz, 4 gigs of ram, a whoping 500 gig hard drive 7200 rpm mind you, HDMI, 3 USB 2.0 slots, memory card reader, web cam, mic, wifi Draft-N, Bluetooth. this thing is a gamers dream and at such an afordable price. Asus also goes the extra mile giving you a 2 year warranty, 1 year accidental, and a 0 dead pixel warranty al for free. The company also generously gives you an awesome 70.00 backpack, a 50.00 razor diamond back mouse, and a 30.00 game (usually Alone in the Dark). Asus really shows they care about their customers and I am proud to own this baby. For people worried about the battery, Asus makes a 9 cell battery which pushes about 3 hours and 15 minutes when I watched a movie. The Battery is around 100.00 but well worth the investment if you need ithe juice. Yes the speakers do suck but honstly if sound is a huge priority you should have this baby plugged into external speakers. This thing is the best 15 inch gaming laptop you will find. It is built for gaming. IT handles Crysis like a breeze. The laptop even bears the "republic of gaming" logo on it so you know its part of Asus's top of the line gaming riggs. To be honest this thing gives the Gateway FX series a run for its money I had one and it wasnt super great. I hope my review was helpful.
