  "Stopped performing after a few months."

  Pros: Prior to development of problems, the monitor had a good picture and performed as promised.

  Cons: After about 4 or 5 months of operation, settings (size, horizontal, vertical, etc.) would not stay set. About 364 days after purchase, black spots appeared on screen (1 year warranty). After 12 3/4 months, picture fell apart, it shuts itself on and off.

  This monitor would get a 8 or 9 rating from me, because intially it is excellent (especially considering the price).
  
  But after about 6 months of daily use, I started to have problems. Right now, the display area has shrunken and become dimmer, which I can correct manually a little bit. At random moments, it will snap back to its old self but most of the time it's just not right.
  
  I loved it, but now I'm shopping around for an LCD.
