"They look cool; bass is poor"
Pros: Digitally connected; Cool looking; better than the usual
Cons: Strange bass
Summary: These are way better than the usual PC speakers. But the bass tones are gradually driving me crazy -- there are odd and out-of-tune resonances happening. A classical-music bass drum, for example, will completely put my teeth on edge when played through this sound system.
You can't get much bass from a 6-inch speaker, of course, but it's not just that. Perhaps the odd speaker enclosure is creating the odd sound effects on the low notes.
(If you're listening to pop or rock it probably don't matter.)
