"Awsome, Fast and reliable... with routine upkeep"
Pros: I've had 2 of these in my home and another three in my buisness now for over 4 years. They are the best piece of equipment I've ever owned. With minor maintenance ( heatsink clean and proper malware protection) they are bulletproof.
Cons: A little spendy at over 2,000 ea. but, 100 times more reliable than any other computers I've had..... And I've had a lot of them.
Summary: I can't say enough about them. I susspect if anybody has had a bad experience with them, it was due to improper upkeep. These monsters run three fans for cooling. The power demand from the processor and the awsome 17in. monitor makes cooling essential. The heatsink needs regular cleaning to keep those fans running strong and doing their job. Without that simple step, you are going to see motherboard and hard drive failures. With that simple maintainenance.... outstanding and again, bulletproof.

thanks for the info. I'm getting a refurbished 25. You refer to "heatsink" which I'm not familiar with. I binged "heatskin" and it returned hardware/cables for cooling disk drives, etc. From the way you refer to heatsink, it sounds like something inside the P25...is that true? Is it easy to do? Can you provide any reference material associated to heatsink? I know I'm asking a lot, but I need the P25 to be reliable and I understand that maintenance is vital with any PC. thanks again! peter_mollica@att.net
