"Great Entertainment Computer"
Pros: Huge 19" screen, Fast
Cons: None so far.........
Summary: This computer is great...I got it when it had an available 19" flat screen and it looks great and its huge! It is so fast! This computer is great for someone with music...photos...and videos!! The Windows XP media center addition is great! I definently reccomend this computer to anyone!Updated
I have had this computer for about 6 months and i know in my last review i put that it is a great computer...but now there are some problems with it. It makes the most annoying buzzing sound you will ever hear! The taskbar at the bottom of the screen dissipears and the screen freezes, the browser for internet shuts off. I do not recomend this computer now.Updated
do not purchase this computer it is just a wacky computer....its a "basic" computer for a expensive price...i dont recommend it...get a apple or something else. Dell is getting worse and worse....

Computers do not do these things by themselves. It ia always the person using the computer, a peice of uncompatable software, registry cleaning or a virus. Sounds to me like you have a virus or you deleted a necessary registry key. Tyr geting a good AV first. Then if nothing do a PC restore. (not a syatem restore) or if worse comes to worse re-install the OS with a Dell tech support agent. Deffinatly not the computer!

It's the OS. what did you do? Overuse a registry cleaner? Dell Provided all the OS DVD and CD"s. Call Dell and re-install the OS. Then, leave it alone! What! Are you silly or something? I'd bet it's either over cleaning of the registry or some incompatable software issue.

I have had this computer for 1 month and it is the worst cpu I have ever purchased. I absolutely cannot stand the high pitched buzzing noise. It is like nails on a blackboard! The *overseas* Dell support person offered no help. Something has happened to Dell quality. Will never purchase from them again.
