"Be carefull when you order this. Dell is being a bit Deceitful !"
Pros: Very fast and very nice looking PC.
Cons: Video card, and Hard drive
Summary: I just received mine 2 days ago. I didn't upgrade the video card, and left it at the default 256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache. This is a 128 meg video card stealing 128 from your motherboard. I had no way of knowing this when I purchased the PC, and am very very dissapointed. This PC also shipped with a Samsung hard drive. It's very loud, and a little unnerving to hear a new hard drive make so much noise. I called Dell this morning and demanded they send me a 256 meg card, and after an hour on the phone with a technician in India that I could barely understand, they agreed. They are going to send me the ATI Radeon X1300 Pro PCI Express (256 MB) @ no charge, and told me to keep the 128 meg card. Bottom line is, I think Dell is being deceitful on their web page. Need an opinion from someone out there. Do you think the nVidia Geforce 7300LE with 128 onboard ram, and stealing 128 from main memory is still a better card than the Radeon X1300 Pro PCI Express with 256 on-board ?

They actually explain that the 7300LE uses up to 128 mb of onboard memory in their "Help ME Choose" Section, although it is hidden way at the bottom.

The X1300 is the same exact set up as the 7300. ALL low end graphics cards share memory from your system. Of the choices only the 7900 GS is a true 256 mb dedicated memory. And to the poster below me, yes the 7900 will perform way better than the X1300. Graphics rely on more than just included memory. The equivalent ATi card to the 7900 is the X1900 which is not an option.

Hmmmm... I purchased a Dell XPS410 last October and I ordered it with a 256MB NVIDIA GEForce 7900GS video card which might be similar to your original card. I question that there would be a perceptible difference between this particular card and the Radeon X1300 Pro PC1 Express 256 video card as far as performance & the graphics goes if the computer is packed with a minimum of 2GB Ram.

I noticed the same when I looked at the system information. I'm having a terrible time getting anyone to take on this replacement task. So far no luck.
