This is a great cam ,probably the best cam on the market....If you want a cam to take still pictures why don't you buy sony and samsung 4MP Digital camera which are available for 130$ with 3X optical zoom....this is a web cam with few additional features thats it and probably the best web cam...I just love it and anybody who chats with me always asks which cam am i using after they tell me how clear my image is...Thats what it meant for and thats wht it does the best.
