"A1650N is probably NOT upgradable"
Pros: Great value for an "AS-IS" machine
Cons: PSU cannot handle video upgrades
Summary: I have an almost identical a1450n with the same features, except it has an AMD 4200 X2. While I am very satisfied with this as a general purpose machine, the HP's 300 watt PSU cannot handle a video card upgrade. I suspect that the a1650n will have the exact same problem. If you want to upgrade to a PCI express card, you'll have to upgrade the PSU as well.

Just got the card over the weekend and it works fine (took forever to install the drivers though). The 512 Mb would've required at least 350W. I don't know anything about the power supply not fitting.

I recently bought this machine and had a GeForce card installed but was told that a 400 watt power supply would not fit and would require building a whole new machine. I was told that this card should be OK with this system as is. Any comments or experience to share
