"Has many problems, corrected in newer model."
Pros: good picture at 1080i component
Cons: sound quality, menu ergonomics.
Summary: The TV is adjusted way too green as has already been mentioned. Mine was the same.
I've a theory it's done to hide some design problems. The new TV, CT27HL15 doesn't have this problem. In fact all of the issues I'm aware of have been improved in the new model.
This includes the sound quality and the crappy color balance. If you use component with a 1080i input (such as an upconverting
DVD player), the TV does NOT remember the
aspect ratio you set; it defaults to 16*9
everytime you turn on the TV. You have to
navigate two menu's to set it back if you really need 4*3.
On the new TV, they included an "aspect"
button right on the remote. The general
order of items have been improved on the
"action" menu. "picture" at the top, which
makes much more sense. I'm going to be returning mine
to Circuit City.
