"Great value if you can find one"

    by shady28 on December 28, 2007

Pros: 1080i, lots of inputs including hdmi

Cons: Heavy and bulky compared to LCD or Plasma

Summary: I've had this TV for almost 2 years now, and it still looks great.

Do not mistake the Toshiba 30HF85 for this model, the 30HF85 is a low quality inferior product from an outsourced manufacturer - the 30HF84 is made by Toshiba and is a high quality product.

A lot of people knock the CRT HD TV's these days; I have both a 27" LCD and a 30" CRT and the CRT beats the LCD hands down in image quality. It also functions in 1080i which you won't easily find for less than twice what this TV cost me. It's been a solid reliable TV and will probably remain my primary TV for at least another year.
