"Best value ED plasma!!"
Pros: Comes with stand and wall mount. Great picture quality. Great price.
Cons: PIP only supported in VGA or HDMI mode. Can't change colour of sidebars to avoid burn-in (which I have read that other plasmas can do?).
Summary: I contemplated getting an HD plasma for a while, but didn't feel that the price difference was worth it. When this TV dropped $1K in price to $2K CAD, I went to take a look at the TV at Best Buy. The picture quality was comparable to other HD plasmas. When I got home, the picture quality wasn't great. I switched my cable from analog to digital that night and once I got my digital cable box, the picture quality drastically improved! I still have my old Sony Wega CRT in the living room to compare, and the Philips is 10x better! Have had the TV for 4 days now and no complaints. Aslo saved a couple of hundred bucks not having to buy a wall mount.
