"Value for money....Indeed" on by hjb49
Pros: To pay more is just plain silly....
Cons: When I find one I will post it.
Summary: I purchased the set at BJs in August having done by DD. The $200 off coupon didn't hurt either so I paid $999.00.
With the HDMI cable hook up to my Time Warner HD Box and my Samsung Upconvert DVD player I am a happy man. The picture on the TV is great in HD and not bad at all in SD. The tv is very easy to set up to whatever picture you like the best...a bit of trial and error and Voila...a great picture with good sound.
The tv is a breeze to set up with the HDMI cables and if you need any help with anything you have Vizios tech support and website which has been a pleasure to use.
With Black Friday in 2 days I am certain that there will be 42" 1080P sets available for under 1K if you get there at 5AM...LOL. And even if you pay what I did I do not believe you will find a better value for your money. Unpack it, read the directions, plug it in, adjust the picture and sound to your liking and then forget it....Watching NFL football, NHL hockey, and movies...ahhh...life is good....Happy Holidays to all and to all A Great Life....
