"Beware its a SONY"
Pros: Easy to move
Cons: Move it out of your house
Summary: I had this set for only 18 months. The SONY warranty is ony 12 months. The set does not go on any more. Sony was of no help at all. All they said its out of warrant. Well I know that but I thought I was buying the best and after all its a SONY. Tough luck right. I've found out it will cost $500+ to fix. Well I don't think so not after buying it for $1600. I now have a SONY boat anchor because that about all its worth. DO NOT BUY SONY. Lesson learn the hard way.

I have two Sony Trinitrons both about 13 years old, maybe more. They still work, no colour distortion, no fade. Maybe yours is a defect, or maybe you just didn't look after it. Sony is the most reliable company out there (at least for me) Whatever I purchased from Sony, is faultless. Never broke down. Can't say the same for other brands though.. (again, this is my opinion created by my own personal experience)
